LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- A Louisville is facing multiple charges after police say he assaulted a woman and was in possession of illegal substances.

According to a police report, officers were called to 3316 Noe Way in response to a domestic violence report. The victim reported that Jordan Simpson Jr. pushed her repeatedly, struck her in the head and abdomen with his fist, choked her, and held her in a headlock.

The victim left the home and Simpson followed her to Fagenbush Lane where he threatened her and a friend with a revolver.

Simpson was not at the location when police arrived, but he was arrested several hours later. At the time of arrest, he reportedly had a bag of what appeared to be cocaine in his pocket, according to police.

Simpson consented to a search of his vehicle which yielded a bag "crack rock" and four bags of marijuana.

He also consented to a search of the apartment which yielded .45 and .38 caliber ammunition and a gun cleaning kit.
