LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man was arrested on Tuesday after police said he attacked his girlfriend at their residence.
According to the police report, Clarence Berg Jr. texted his girlfriend earlier in the evening and told her not to be mad at him.
She replied, telling him that she wouldn't be as long as he wasn't drunk.
When she got home, she found Berg drunk and reportedly went to another room to cool down because she was upset.
Berg then followed her and attempted to start a fight.
She said he pinned her against the wall and, in an attempt to get him off her, she grabbed his genitals.
He moved back and then pinned her against the bed, where she retaliated and bit his chest.
Angered, she said Berg punched her multiple times in the eye and Berg said it was an "old fashioned throw down."
Officers reported that when they arrived on the scene, an officer told Berg he was under arrest, but Berg hooked his arm around the stairs to stop the officer from placing him in cuffs.
The officer then attempted to cuff Berg again, but Berg grabbed the officer's genitals.
Police said Berg fought and resisted to the fullest.
Berg is facing charges of domestic violence, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
