LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A long time Louisville firefighter is on administrative leave after being arrested for drug trafficking.

Sergeant Willie McBride Junior was arrested Tuesday.  Police say they found a large amount of marijuana, guns, and cash at his home after executing a search warrant.

McBride has been with the Louisville Fire Department for 19 years and worked at the Crescent Hill Station at Frankfort and Franck avenues.

A spokesperson for the fire department says Sgt. McBride will be on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
