(WHAS11) -- In less than two months the rivalry will be re-ignited on the field between Kentucky and Louisville, but this summer Cards fans have been feeling a little blue.
“It doesn’t look right. It's not a good look,” said Kris Watts.
He was talking about the UK Football billboard that sits right above a UofL campus building.
“It's our campus. This is our home and now they're like invading it," said student Katie Goben.
School officials picked the spot for its location next to a major interstate, but there is another billboard on Broadway near Second St.
“I’m all about free speech. I don’t know that they're gonna get much by having the billboards here though,” said Kent Sykes.
Louisville takes on Kentucky at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Sunday September 2 at 3:30 p.m.
