LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Slugger has began rolling out their new products for 2013 and baseball as well as softball players got their chance to try them out.
The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory encouraged players to hit balls with their new line of bats on Saturday. It’s an opportunity for those to try out each model and see which one works best.
“This is an opportunity for them to really come and test out those products and the various bats and see which ones fits their game the best before they ask mom and dad to spend money on it,” Rick Redman, vice president of corporate communications said.
The demonstration wasn’t exclusive to Louisville. More than 70 locations across the country held similar testings.
