(WHAS11)—A Louisville native injured in the Boston Marathon bombing last year is getting her dream wedding thanks to a website.

Theknot.com is helping give Rebekah Gregory and her fiancé, Pete DiMartino a dream wedding, along with her story being featured in “People Magazine.”

Gregory, DiMartino and her son were all injured during the bombings last April, while watching DiMartino’s mother run in the marathon.

Gregory suffered a horrific leg injury, with the possibility that one leg may still have to be amputated. She was able to shield her young son so he was not severely hurt.

The three now live in Texas. Gregory was in the hospital for months after the incident and has had 15 surgeries, and it is unknown if she will actually be able to walk down the aisle

The couple plans to be married in April at the Biltmore in Asheville, N.C. She will also be blogging for “People Magazine” leading up to the wedding.
