LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for the death of his business partner.
Thomas Kessinger was in a Jefferson County court room Tuesday morning for sentencing after he was convicted of killing Diane Tanselle in 2010.
Tanselle went missing in 2010 from a tanning salon she owned with Kessinger. When police tried to question Kessinger about her disappearance, he fled to Indiana, where he was stopped after leading officers on a 15-mile high speed chase.
Kessinger was charged with her murder after she was found wrapped in a tarp inside a van in an Lyndon apartment complex parking lot six days after she was last seen alive.
Kessinger will serve additional time for tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
