LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A four-year-old child is recovering after police said her stepfather beat her.
According to a police report, the child’s mother walked in on her husband, Peter Edlin, while he was hitting the child.
Police said the couple started to argue and Edlin began pulling out the little girl’s hair.
The girl was taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital and Edlin was arrested.
Edlin is charged with 3rd degree criminal abuse. The LMPD Crimes Against Children is investigating.
