LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man was booked into Metro Corrections wearing a hospital gown after a wrong-way accident on Interstate 71
Police said 27-year-old Jess Inman was going south in the northbound lanes, and speeding, when he hit a semi head-on. That crash caused a second semi to go off the road and into a ditch. The accident happened just before 1 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Police said Inman told officers that he had been drinking beer at a friend's house.
Police said he also punched an EMT when he was being put into the ambulance.
