Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A Louisville woman has been charged over a crash involving an ambulance.
66-year-old Janet Zaepfel was arrested Saturday on charges including failure to give the right of way to an emergency vehicle, reckless driving and assault.
Zaepfel is charged in this accident late Wednesday night at Furman Boulevard and Taylorsville Road.
Five people were injured in the crash.
Police say the ambulance crashed into Zaepfel's car while on the way to Baptist Hospital East with a patient.
The ambulance had its lights and sirens on.
None of the injuries were serious.
