LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Twin WWII veterans celebrated a milestone birthday on Tuesday.
Bill and George Swanson turned 95 years old.
The brothers enjoyed their party at the Oxmoor Lodge with family and friends in Louisville.
After enlisting in the Army in 1942, Bill was deployed to England where his company marched before the King and Queen of England.
He then worked in the 9th Air Force planes section in London on the Overlord Invasion.
In 1943, George joined Bill and they continued their service in England, France, Belgium and Germany until 1945.
The twins talked about what the past 95 years have been like.
Bill found the love of his life, Mary, and George found the love of his life in Mary's best friend Lynn.
The couples grew so close that they had a double wedding in 1947.
