LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – With less than 24 hours to go until the Super Bowl, local restaurants are gearing up for one of the busiest days of the year.
“All the employees are working that day. We’ve passed out advertisements, we’ll hopefully be ready for the game,” Daniel Kosztowny, owner of Jet’s Pizza said.
Jet’s Pizza in Middletown opened 4 months ago and says for the big game, its offering specials on pizza, wing and breadstick combo’s.
Across the country, Super Bowl Sunday is the busiest day of the year for pizza delivery drivers with almost twice as many pies sold on the big day than on any other day of the year.
