LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Junior League of Louisville’s urban garden continues to help out the local community and organizations with food deserts.

The League has three plots at Volunteers of America, Family Scholar House and Home of the Innocents.

They tend to the gardens and use the vegetables and herbs when cooking for residents.

The League works with different agencies to hold cooking classes and to teach people how to garden.
