LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It’s called the Portland Pride Project; a major effort now underway to revitalize Louisville’s Portland Neighborhood.
As many as 75 Portland homes are being renovated with $2 million in federal community development block grant funds.
Thirty homes have been renovated so far and work is underway on fifteen more. Thirty others are expected to be finished by next summer.
Today, Mayor Greg Fischer, Congressman John Yarmuth and other community leaders marked the progress made so far.
