LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Local cheerleaders from Kentuckiana had a reason to celebrate after participating in the National Cheerleading Championships.
Eastside Middle School and Bullitt East High School both had cheer squads place in the competition.
Eastside Middle placed second in the nation.
Bullitt East High School’s Co-Ed squad won first place while their girl’s team placed 11th.
There will be a welcome home celebration at both schools today.
