LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville representative has filed a bill requiring Kentucky legislative members and their staff to undergo workplace harassment training.
The move comes on the heels of Representative John Arnold’s resignation last summer amid allegations that he sexually harassed three legislative staffers.
The representative who filed the legislation, Jeff Donohue, chaired the House Special Committee that investigated the accusations.
Donohue says there’s more that lawmakers can do to create a harassment-free workplace and protect employees.
Donohue represents the Fairdale area of southern Jefferson County.
