LMPD arrests man in connection with Thunder Facebook threats

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- LMPD has arrested a man in connection with threats on Facebook regarding killing during Thunder Over Louisville.

Police arrested Cameron Malone, 18, on Wednesday afternoon. He told police that he posted threatening messages on Facebook about the annual fireworks show and pictures of handguns in a plastic tub.

He is charged with terroristic threatening first and was served with two bench warrants, one for criminal trespass first and the other for possession of marijuana.

LMPD thanked concerned citizens for bringing the post to their attention on their Facebook page.
