LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police say a woman took driving under the influence to new levels when she nearly wrecked her vehicle with two young children inside.

Officers say they noticed 25-year-old Lucherica Dubose’s vehicle swerving in an out of traffic near the Watterson Expressway at I-65 southbound.

When officers stopped Dubose, they say her eyes were bloodshot red and her movements were very slow.

According to the police report, Dubose also had her 9-year-old and two-year-old children as passengers in the vehicle.

Dubose told officers she smoked Spice, also known as synthetic marijuana. She said “it messed her up” and she’s “never smoking that again.”

Dubose faces two counts of wanton endangerment and driving under influence.
