LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Four people are facing numerous charges after an apparent domestic issue turns into a meth bust.
Police were called to the Churchill Park Apartments in the 7200 block of Hill Park Way near Hikes Point.
Officers say they were originally answering a call of a man saying a woman was trying to kill him with a knife but it later changed to say individuals were cooking meth on the premises.
According to the report, officers say a neighbor from another apartment building met them upon arrival and stated that 30-year-old Brandon Linnig was in his apartment refusing to leave.
When officers approached Linnig, they say he was acting hysterical and stating men were trying to kill his girlfriend. They say he then requested an escort back to his apartment to check on her, but no one answered the door.
Officers were able to go inside the apartment where they discovered 23-year-olds Jazmin Tilford, Chelsea Sword and 35-year-old Kristina Jamison gathered in a rear bedroom.
They say they also found a bag of crystal meth which later led to consent to search uncovering other drug paraphernalia including used syringes, scales and aluminum foil with residue.
Linnig is facing four counts including two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of buying and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Tilford, Sword and Jamison are facing one count each of possession of a controlled substance along with buying and possessing drug paraphernalia.
