LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The son of Congressman John Yarmuth leads an investment group purchasing LEO Magazine from a Tennessee publishing company.
The alternative news weekly announced the move Tuesday with Aaron Yarmuth holding a copy of their Derby issue.
LEO was founded in 1990 by John Yarmuth and four other investors. It was sold in 2003.
In an article posted by LEO Weekly online, Aaron Yarmuth says:
“I am not sure I would recognize a Louisville without LEO, and I am committed to maintaining our position as the progressive voice in our community."
