LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A special enrollment period has been announced for those who didn't get to sign up for Kentucky's Healthcare Exchange, Kynect.

Governor Steve Beshear's office says Kentuckians who completed their applications by March 31 can visit the Kynect website beginning April 4 to pick a plan.

Plans have to be picked by midnight on April 15 with coverage beginning May 1.

Kynect said this will be the last chance for most people to sign up until open enrollment in the fall.

More than 370,000 Kentuckians have enrolled in coverage through Kynect so far.
