FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) – A special election will take place in December to replace a Kentucky state representative who resigned last month amid allegations of sexual harassment.
In September, two women filed complaints against John Arnold of Sturgis accusing him of touching them inappropriately and making vulgar comments.
In his resignation, Arnold said he had been destroyed politically and that the harassment claims were untrue.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear set the election for December 10.
The election will be held under the state’s newly drawn legislative districts.
