(WHAS11) -- Kentucky residents hit hard by the deadly March 2 tornadoes will soon be getting federal help.
FEMA has announced a $1.6 million grant to help the victims in eastern Kentucky, particularly in the city of West Liberty and in Morgan County.
An E-F3 tornado hit that area and was on the ground for 86 miles with winds of up to 165 miles per hour.
In those two areas 10 people were killed and another 75 were injured.
