LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A southern Kentucky nurse faces 91 drug charges after law enforcement officers said she took a doctor's prescription pad and used it to get a variety of drugs.
Drug Enforcement Administration spokesman Martin Redd says 47-year-old Bonnie Rock of Hardyville was arrested Monday night.
Redd says Rock was a nurse at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg and used her access at the facility to get the pad along with identifying information of other employees, which she then used to write prescriptions.
Redd says the scheme traces back to at least 2009. Redd says Rock sought phentermine, a diet pill that acts as a stimulant.
Redd says Rock was taken to the Barren County Jail Monday night. She was not listed as an inmate Tuesday afternoon and could not be located for comment.
Redd says more charges are pending.
