(WHAS11) -- The search for the nation's top undiscovered Blues guitarist is over and the winner is a Kentucky native.
Daniel France, Jr. took home the winning title at the Guitar Center Battle of the Blues Saturday night in Los Angeles.
France is from Madisonville and he started playing guitar at the age of three.
He won $25,000 in cash, thousands of dollars in equipment, and studio time with Grammy-winning producer Pete Anderson.
