LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky Kingdom is seeking 1,000 seasonal workers as it gears up to open in May after being closed for more than four years.
The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/1eY4NfH ) reports a job fair is planned for Saturday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which is near the amusement park.
Officials said summer workers can expect to earn between $8.50 and $10 an hour.
Kentucky Kingdom spokesman John Mulcahy jobs are available in more than 20 areas, including guest services, food services, catering, ride operations, horticulture and security.
Mulcahy said the park expects to fill all position by April. The plan plans to open on May 24.
