KSP: Speeding traffic stop leads to 23 pound marijuana discovery

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) – A routine traffic stop for speeding during rush hour traffic leads to one man’s arrest when an officer discovers more than 20 pounds of marijuana.

A Kentucky State Trooper stopped 22-year-old Jordan Robinson of Cincinnati for speeding when he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Further investigation of the vehicle revealed 23 pounds of marijuana.

Robinson was arrested and charged with speeding and trafficking marijuana.

He’s currently booked in the Scott County Detention Center.
