LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Jury selection began on Monday in the trial of a former LMPD officer charged with shooting a man while he was drunk.
Police said Chauncey Carthan was off-duty in 2012 when he shot Ismael Gough in the leg.
Carthan is charged with DUI, wanton endangerment and official misconduct. He has resigned from the force.
The trial is expected to continue through the week.
