CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- A jury is recommending 26 years in prison for a former University of Virginia lacrosse player.

Earlier Wednesday, the jury found George Huguely V guilty of second-degree murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend, Yeardley Love.

Prosecutors said Huguely killed her in a drunken, jealous rage.

Formal sentencing is scheduled for April.
