LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Dozens of special young women got the tools to have a prom to remember Saturday and it was all for free.
The Junior League of Louisville hosted a one-day shopping spree for high school girls who may not be able to afford dresses, shoes, and other accessories for prom.
The students who took part in the "Bloom Boutique" were all selected by guidance counselors or other mentors.
“This morning we had a young lady who got a dress, her face just lit up. Just seeing the reaction is amazing,” Lindsay Jones with the Junior League said.
