BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – A Indiana judge ruled that a man who died from a gunshot wound last year can be exhumed.
The family of 49-year-old Cary Owsley has questioned whether his death was a suicide.
He died last April from a gunshot wound to the chest.
An autopsy will be performed by three forensic pathologists.
Three sheriff’s deputies were suspended for errors in judgment during the investigation into Owsley’s death.
