JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) – With less than three weeks before Thunder Over Louisville, Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation still has not found a vendor because of limited space.

There are two issues – construction on the bridges project and an ordinance being discussed to ban vending in front of the Harbours Condominiums.

During a Parks Authority Meeting on Monday, only one vendor showed up.

Mayor Mike Moore says he understands the issues facing the people who live at the Harbours.

"I have assured the people of the harbours , I am not going to allow vendors down here in front of their complex they pay a great deal of money for property taxes of this gorgeous view and i'm going to protect it," Mayor Moore said.

Moore also says he doesn’t think the issue will be long standing once the bridges project is done, the vendors will have their space.
