JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) – The sunny side of Louisville has begun making things brighter at the start of a long awaited project.
Monday morning, Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore and others helped break ground on the Big Four Station at the base of the Big Four Bridge.
The $4.2 million project includes a ramp up to the bridge to allow users to walk across to Louisville.
The project, located at Market and Mulberry, also features a playground, a pavilion and more recreational space.
Big Four Station is scheduled to open in November.
