LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – There was a celebration on the Big Four Bridge Wednesday, June 25.
It opened as a railroad bridge 119 years ago, now a pedestrian bridge, though the Indiana side opened in May the dedication ceremony is on Wednesday, June 25.
The celebration started with two parades at five. One in Indiana and the other is in Kentucky. They'll meet in the middle of the bridge for the ceremony.
