LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A new business in Jeffersontown held its grand opening Monday bringing out elected officials, fire and police officers.

FDKY Bar-b-que officially opened their doors, dedicating the restaurant to those who serve the public.

Owner Scott Sivor also decided to collect for the WHAS Crusade for Children at the restaurant because he says he was helped out by the organization as a toddler.

In honor of FDKY’s grand opening, he presented a check to Crusade CEO Dawn Lee with a donation of $565.
