JCPS, teacher's union reach agreement on pay increases

 LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) - JCPS and the Jefferson County Teacher’s Association have reached an agreement on teacher’s pay for the next two years.

Each teacher will receive a pay increase of 820 dollars for the current school year, while they will receive a two-percent raise next year. Step increases will remain in effect for the next two years.

Additionally, the extra service pay schedule will increase by one percent this year and two percent next year.
