LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – For the first time since the JCPS audit was released, the Jefferson County School Board is meeting. Tuesday evening at 7pm, the board will gather at Vanhoose Education Center.

Last week, the auditor claimed the board does not have a clear understanding of how the budget works. The audit exposed major misuse of the $1.3 billion in the JCPS system. However, the audit does not impact the current budget as it was prepared before the audit was released.

The board is expected to vote on the tentative budget at 7 Tuesday evening.
