Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- The Iroquois High School teacher, charged with manslaughter after a deadly motorcycle accident entered a not guilty plea in court Thursday.

 An arrest report says Christopher Purcell’s blood alcohol content was .088 after the crash Saturday morning, that is barely over the legal limit.

Police say Purcell's Jeep struck a motorcycle on Bardstown Road.

31-year-old Tracy Blevins, a passenger on the motorcycle, was killed.

Purcell has been placed on non-instructional duty at JCPS until the investigation in complete.
