LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The mayor of Cincinnati closed their intake valves to avoid any kind of problem with their drinking water, but Louisville says it doesn't need to do that.
The Louisville Water Company has something that others don't, a riverbank filtration program and it makes a big difference.
They also took added steps to make sure everything is okay.
