HODGENVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A runaway teenager who stole her brother’s car from Texas and headed for Kentucky is now making national headlines.

The 13-year-old was found in Tennessee on her way to meet a boy in Hodgenville, Ky.
But the girl's parents’ say they still are not convinced her daughter was talking to a young boy.

Dylan is the 11-year old in Hodgenville that the Texas teen was driving to meet. His family is quite private and didn't want to talk on camera when they first learned she was coming.

But after some disturbing insinuations about who Dylan is and why the girl was coming to meet him, they feel they need to tell their side of the story.

WHAS11’s Karma Dickerson spoke exclusively with that Hodgenville boy and his family, click on the video player above for more.
