LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police are responding to an injury accident in the West Point area.
According to dispatch, that accident, at Dixie Highway near the Salt River Bridge, has severely crippled traffic in the area. It is not known at this time how severe the injuries are.
WHAS11 viewers are reporting the road is closed, but dispatch has not confirmed that.
From those pictures, several cars and a truck are seen off the road.
