INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Two of three people charged in a deadly 2012 Indianapolis house explosion are asking a judge to push back a scheduled June trial start.

WISH-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1mTv6Y8 ) Mark Leonard's attorney asked Friday for an April 2015 trial start if prosecutors provide forensic testing results by the previous month.

The attorney for Leonard's brother, Bob, said he also would not be ready for trial in June.

The two and Mark Leonard's former girlfriend, Monserrate Shirley, face dozens of charges including murder and arson in connection with the explosion that killed Shirley's next-door neighbors and damaged scores of homes in the Richmond Hills subdivision. All three have pleaded not guilty.

Deputy Prosecutor Denise Robinson said an August or September 2014 start for the first trial would be more realistic than June.
