Indiana set to require concussion awareness training for HS football

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Indiana could be the first state in the Union to require concussion awareness training for high school and youth football coaches.

The was approved by the Indiana House today.

That bill, which requires awareness training and a 24-hour waiting period before players who suffered a concussion can return to the field has, has already been approved by the Indiana Senate.
