COVINGTON, Ind. (AP) -- A western Indiana man accused of videotaping himself having sex acts with children as young as 18 months old wants his trial moved to another court.
Fountain County Prosecutor Terry Martin says a lawyer for 32-year-old Stephen E. Quick II of Veedersburg filed a motion for a change of venue and change of judge Tuesday in Fountain Circuit Court.
Defense attorney Steven McCombs did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
Martin says the motion was based on publicity surrounding the sentencing of Quick's co-defendant, baby sitter Samantha Light.
Light was sentenced to 125 years in prison earlier this month after pleading guilty to child molesting charges. During a sentencing hearing she said she had been coerced by Quick.
