CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – Indiana State Police are looking into a reported threat at Crawford County High School.
Superintendent Mark Eastridge says there is no credible threat to anyone on campus.
The district sent an e-mail to staff members and a voice mail to parents Monday saying someone had made a veiled threat via social media.
Eastridge also says investigators believed someone hacked the Facebook accounts of several students and made the threats.
He also praised the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police for their quick response saying officers were in homes investigating within an hour.
