INDIANAPOLIS (WHAS11) – Indianapolis Police are investigating three homicides, all of which took place over the course of 5 hours Saturday evening and into the night.
Just after 5 p.m., a homeowner called police saying shots had been fired toward his backyard after a disturbance inside the house.
When officers responded to the scene, they found an 18-year-old had been shot and killed.
Just hours later, a 23-year-old was found shot to death in the backyard of a home about four miles away.
A third homicide occurred inside another home on the city’s north side.
