SCOTTSBURG, Ind. (WHAS11) — An Indiana man turned himself into police Tuesday morning to face charges of child seduction. 

Police said Brien Stout, 37 from Scottsburg, turned himself in at the Scott County Circuit Court around 10 a.m.  

ISP detectives  were contacted by the Scott County Division of Family and Children in June and requested an investigation of an allegation of child seduction involving a youth pastor from a Scott County church.
 
During the investigation, police said they discovered Stout befriended a juvenile member of the youth group he was leading. He allegedly had inappropriate contact with the juvenile, and investigators said they discovered some electronic conversations between the two had been tampered with. 
 
Stout is charged with Child Seduction, C Felony; Child Seduction, D Felony and Obstruction of Justice, D Felony. He was in front of a judge Tuesday and  was transferred to the Scott County Jail after his hearing.
