Ind. jail worker facing misconduct charges

JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A jail worker in Jennings County, Indiana is reportedly out of a job and facing charges for having an inappropriate relationship with an inmate.

The Jennings County Sheriff's Office said the inappropriate incidents would occur between 30-year-old Christy Ramirez and an inmate in the jail's kitchen.

Ramirez was a food service worker for the jail.

She is facing charges of sexual misconduct and trafficking with an inmate. Both of the charges are felonies.
