SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – An Indiana man is behind bars after police say they discovered drugs while serving an arrest warrant.
Indiana State Police arrested 37-year-old Willie Vires in the 300 block of South Third Street in Austin, Indiana.
Police say Vires was wanted in Clark County for driving on a suspended license.
According to the report, when the arresting officer came in contact with Vires they found methamphetamine and marijuana in his possession.
He was charged with possession of both marijuana and methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
Vires is currently booked in the Scott County Jail.
