JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) – Golfers hit the links for the first ever Ted Throckmorton Crusade Golf Tournament.
Throckmorton is one of only three people who have been at every WHAS Crusade for Children broadcast since it began in 1954.
In the event named after him, he was one of more than 100 golfers who teed off to raise money for the Crusade.
"To have the turnout that we have and the weather that we've got, somebody's up there watching over me and the tournament," he said.
According to the Crusade for Children, the golf scramble raised $13,351.
The 61st annual WHAS11 Crusade for Children will take place on June 7 and June 8.
